HARBOR HILLS GARDEN AND WOMEN’S CLUB

Wondering what the Harbor Hills Garden and Women’s Club is planning for the 2023-2024 season? Club President Vanessa Renaker guarantees members will be delighted by the variety of informative and entertaining programs.

Legacy planning encompasses more than hard assets. It includes anything that ensures you are happy with the legacy you leave behind. In October, experienced Legacy Planners will discuss planning what and how we leave to our loved ones. Questions are encouraged.

Lunch and Bubbles is the theme of our November program. Our HOA representative Holly Nichols will teach a mixology class, showcasing the art of preparing mixed drinks and cocktails. Mixologists create new cocktail recipes by combining innovative ideas with traditional knowledge. Taste testing may be involved, so don’t miss this program!

December’s gathering is all about holiday fun. It’s the perfect time to enjoy a fabulous lunch and strengthen the bonds that our friendly community fosters. A few games are on the agenda to add to the laughter and good cheer.

Greet January with a new you! A guest cosmetologist will share beauty tips for the “mature woman.” The makeup tutorial will focus on the types of products that accentuate the inner beauty that is uniquely our own. A good beauty routine will include enough sleep, a proper diet, and a positive outlook on life!

Harbor Hills resident Lynda Collier will be February’s guest speaker. Lynda is a compassionate and knowledgeable professional in the field of breast cancer recovery. She will share tips on apparel, hair pieces, and more. Lynda is very active in her advocacy role, and we look forward to this unique program.

Our March event is TBD. Chico’s distinctive flair will be on display in April. Don’t miss our very own fashion-forward women modeling the latest styles.

Cheers Restaurant at the Stonecrest Country Club is the locale for our Tea Time program in May. Bring your favorite teacup or teapot and share your special story about your treasure. Don’t forget to wear your best-loved hat or fascinator. Email gardenclubharborhills@gmail.com for information on club membership and events.
