October’s inaugural event is, “How Green Is Your Garden?” First time gardeners and new residents face challenges growing vegetables and herbs in Florida. Learn helpful tips from the Simon Seed Garden Center. Join us in November with a unique program by author and cheese expert MacKenzie Smith. She is the creator of GrilledCheeseSocial.com, the world’s largest grilled cheese blog. It’s a fun-filled event with unexpected cheesy recipes and more.
December’s program is a “Christmas Tour of the Baker House.” The Wildwood Area Historical Association has restored this Sumter County landmark to its original 1886 prominence. Greet January 2020 with our popular purse auction. February’s ‘A New You’ is a just-in-time informational event. Dr. Helene will demonstrate easy to apply practices to make us look and feel younger.
Our March program, “A Land Remembered” features an exciting presentation by the son of the author, Patrick Davis Smith. Over a century of Florida history from 1858 to 1968 is described by the celebrated author whose Pulitzer Prize nominations include historical fiction.
Home décor is the theme of our April program, “Fashions For Your Home.” It will be presented by Baers. The season concludes with a fashion show. Stein Mart is our host with models from the Harbor Hills community!
Mark your calendar for a celebration of freedom at our Veteran’s Park on Veteran’s Day, 11-11-19 at 11 A.M. Volunteers have done an exceptional job beautifying the area and the community is welcome to attend. Email Judy at moninjudy@gmail for more information on club membership and events.
