Although our activities are limited during COVID 19, we still have seasonal calendars to fill. How about a visit to Harbor Hills? It’s one of the fun things we can do safely. Tomorrow evening, club members will enjoy the “Meet A Neighbor, Bring A Neighbor” event. What a great way to meet the new residents in our growing community!
Member dinners are available Wednesdays and Fridays. Our spectacular Sunday brunch is served concierge style from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is warmly welcome. Call 352-753-7000 for reservations. The Grille Room, open to the public and available daily, offers both seating and a delicious Grab and Go meal. All aspects of service are in accordance with the CDC.
Undeterred by the virus but with safety considerations, the Harbor Hills Ladies Charity has replaced the unique “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner” charity event. Now called “Dinner with Friends”, hosts will select a date during the week of March 7th. Four to six friends will be guests for an entertaining dinner. A donation of $25 is requested to help the underserved in our local community. Contact Chairpersons Janet White-Cofer or Leslie Nisun for details.
The popular Ladies’ Charity Unique Boutique Clothing Sale has been cancelled. Gently used clothing and linens can now be dropped off at the home of Susan Connor by March 25th. Please call to arrange a time. On an encouraging note, the Ladies Charity Food Drive was highly successful. Special thanks to Lina Hall and Barbara Smith for their organizational skills and caring hearts. With food, friends and fun, it’s still possible to enjoy our best life in spite of our most difficult challenges.
