A very special event takes place on Sunday when the Harbor Hills Ladies Charity holds its Holiday Golf tournament and Dinner. Commemorating the 29th year of this event, chairperson Lin McLeod and co-chair Lorraine Kasse encourage all Harbor Hills residents to participate. You do not have to be a club member to play in the pick-your-own foursome scramble or attend the dinner.

Registration and ticket sales begin at 10:30 a.m. The shotgun golf scramble starts at 12:30 PM. Dinner and dessert follow. The event includes a themed raffle basket drawing, a silent auction and a 50-50 drawing. To make the evening extra-special, there are drawings for three beverage tubs filled with top shelf liquor, select wines and craft beer. There is a special drawing for a Joe Redd putter. Golf members, social members and non-members are all welcome. Hole sponsorships and general donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated.

The Harbor Hills Ladies Charity is a 501 (C) (3) charity. Last year’s event raised $43,000 which benefitted the Christian Food Pantry, Lake Hills School, Fruitland Park Elementary School, Community Medical Care Center, The Villages Elementary School, The Haven and Forward Paths. The holidays are in full swing at Harbor Hills. Future events include the Holiday Cart Parade, the Festival of Lights and the House Decorating Contest. The upcoming Florida Country Club Championship Cup will be played at our tennis facility, well-known in the state. It’s the perfect time to take a short drive out to enjoy lunch or a challenging round of golf. Our semiprivate club welcomes you!
