The competitive spirit is alive and well on the courts of Harbor Hills Country Club! The Fourth Annual Tennis Doubles Championship is sponsored by the Harbor Hills Racquet Association. Participation is open to all Harbor Hills Country Club members. Association President Richard Baker is looking forward to a great competition.

Round robin matches have started and are played in each of three divisions: Ladies Doubles, Gentlemen’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. The matches are completed over the six-month period between October and March. In April, the top four teams will play an exciting sudden-death semi-final. Winners will then play for the club championship. The event concludes with a reception to crown the champions and award the trophies.

Our club is one of the few facilities offering tennis, short-court tennis and pickleball on an original Har-Tru (soft) surface. Members of the Harbor Hills Racquet Association include country club members and non-residents who hold social, seasonal tennis or pickleball memberships.

It’s the season of giving and children are especially deserving. The Green Swamp Chapter of the Nam Knights Motorcycle Club invites you to participate in their annual toy drive.  Bring an unwrapped toy to the clubhouse on 17450 Tuscanooga Road in Groveland on December 10th and receive a free Christmas dinner! Contact Harbor Hills neighbor Bill Dashiells at 443-938-3130 for event information. Visit www.namknights.org to learn about the club’s inspiration and mission.

The holidays are in full swing at Harbor Hills. Future events include the Holiday Cart Parade, the Festival of Lights and the House Decorating Contest. It’s the perfect time to take a short drive out to enjoy lunch or a challenging round of golf. Our semi-private club welcomes you!
