On October 30th, you can make a difference in the lives of students with unique learning needs. The Men’s Group of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held at the beautiful Harbor Hills Country Club.
The Holy Trinity Episcopal School is as special as its students. The school is a ministry of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Fruitland Park. It’s interesting to note that the church was built in 1888. It is officially listed in The National Register of Historic Places. Today, the school provides a unique environment for learning-challenged students Grades 6 through 12, to foster the skills necessary to live a healthy, productive life.
The Holy Trinity Episcopal School is a Christian community, welcoming children and families of every faith, background or origin. The school provides unlimited possibilities for children with learning differences such as autism, dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Educational programs offer low student to teacher ratios. State of Florida prescribed curriculums are adapted to each student’s individual needs.
Many families cannot afford the tuition and fees needed to cover the school’s expenses. Funds from this golf tournament provide scholarships for students with financial needs, educational program improvements and facility expansion.
Blackston Financial is returning as the tournament sponsor. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin and an exciting putting contest. Registration will remain open until October 16. For questions and more information, contact Sidney Yee, Tournament Chairperson at 703-966-2615, firstname.lastname@example.org or register on-line at www.HTECgolf.com. The church, the school and most importantly, the students, are grateful for your support.
