MARCH IS A BUSY MONTH FOR HARBOR HILLS RESIDENTS BY NIKKI HOFFMAN
Two golf competitions, an intercommunity tennis victory, an online Ladies Charity event, and a special date with the Humane Society. The busy month of March has begun!
Harbor Hills couples are gearing up for the 2025 Couples Club Championship on March 8 and 9. The tournament features a two-person best-ball format. Team prizes will be awarded for gross and net winners, along with prizes for closest to the pin. Dinner will follow play on Sunday. Sign up at the golf shop for one of the most enjoyable competitions of the season.
The Member-Member Stroke Play Tournament will take place on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, March 19, 21, and 23. A fee of $20 per player covers all three days. Additionally, there will be a gross skins game for $20 per player. Members’ guests can join Sunday’s dinner for $30 pp. A 50/50 drawing and entertainment will be part of the fun. Sign up online before March 15.
Congratulations to our uber-competitive tennis players for defeating Trilogy 3-2 in a recent intercommunity match! Mark your calendar for the final match of this exciting series on March 8 against The Plantation of Leesburg.
The Harbor Hills Ladies Charity is hosting a unique online 50/50 chance drawing for residents this month. Look for flyers about our Ladies Charity Spring Fund with entry details. Then, join your neighbors for an ice cream social where we will draw the lucky winner and celebrate together. You don't need to purchase a ticket to attend and enjoy the festivities.
Our 12-year-old mini dachshund, Snoopy, was adopted from the Leesburg Humane Society last year. He has brought so much joy into our lives. On Tuesday, March 11, at 2 pm, the Leesburg Humane Society will collect pet items in the parking lot in front of our clubhouse. Needed items include dog and cat beds, food, treats, toys, towels, and more. Let’s make it a success and help more shelter pets like Snoopy!
