FESTIVE EVENTS PLANNED FOR THIS HOLIDAY SEASON BY NIKKI HOFFMAN

Happy New Year! Harbor Hills Country Club welcomes the New Year with an extraordinary evening. The theme is “Night at the Ball” and you are invited!  After hors d’oeuvres at 7 p.m., partygoers will enjoy an extravagant dinner in the ballroom at 8:15 p.m. Dash will entertain us with hit songs we all remember, making this a very special night. The event is open to the public. To join us, call 352-753-7000 for reservations.The annual Men’s Golf Association’s Presidents Cup was played the week of Dec. 6. The three-day event was very competitive, fielding three net flights. The overall net winner is Don Winefordner who played in Flight Two. The winner in Flight One is Rich Billings. Flight Three winner is Ken Machacek. Congrats to all who participated.The 4^th Annual Harbor Hills Cart Parade was held on December 16^th. Cheers to the winners of the Holiday House Decorating Contest, Al and Patti Anglis. Many thanks to Carol DiDomenico, Cindy Sammons and the Festival of Lights team who organized the fun!Harbor Hills is proud to contribute to the underserved community. The first of two food drives sponsored by our Ladies Charity will be held January 28, 29 and 30^th. Co-chairs Lina Hall and Vanessa Rennaker need your help to replenish the shelves of the Lady Lake Food Pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the Pro Shop. All non-perishable food items, soaps, paper products, and monetary donations are graciously accepted. For families unable to feed their pets properly, pet food is appreciated.  Food availability and good nutrition help our general population. During this season of giving, please consider donating, especially during these difficult days. The act of giving will fill your heart!
