HARBOR HILLS - COMMUNITY SPIRIT IN ACTION BY NIKKI HOFFMAN
Tuesday, March 11th, Harbor Hills became a haven of hope for furry friends! When Volunteer Heidi Gaumet from the Leesburg Humane Society pulled into our parking lot, she was met with an outpouring of kindness. Animal lovers from Harbor Hills showered her with incredible donations: think giant paper towels, hefty dog food bags, cozy beds, and playful toys! We packed her van to the brim, a testament to our community's big hearts. The generosity didn't stop there. Over $500 in monetary donations flooded in. Special thanks to Steve Stevens for helping to raise awareness of our event. Shoutout to Morrison United Methodist Church and the wonderful Brenda Jones for a game-changing donation that propelled us past our goal! Don't worry if you missed it; you can still contribute to the cause at https://leesburghumanesociety.org.
Harbor Hills Country Club members are invited to a unique “Dueling Pianos” show on March 28. The event features two pianists competing in an entertaining musical performance, playing popular songs on grand pianos. The audience is invited to sing along while enjoying music that spans classic rock to contemporary pop hits. A portion of the proceeds support our Ladies' Charity. This event includes a special dinner and VIP seating. Contact the club for details.
The Harbor Hills Ladies Charity proudly presents the Host and Toast event from January through April. Hosts invite friends to their homes for a delightful evening together. On the night of the event, a $25 donation is collected from each guest. Then, we raise a toast to our guests and enjoy the festivities! The donations support our Ladies Charity in continuing its vital work within the community. For more information, contact Christyne Collins at christyne@gmail.com.
