GOLF EXTRAVAGANZA AT HARBOR HILLS BY NIKKI HOFFMAN
The Harbor Hills Club Championship and Senior Club Championship is one of the most popular tournaments of the fall season. All golf members were invited to compete. Congratulations to First Place winner Dr. Kevin Chun. The coveted parking space and well-earned bragging rights are now yours! Second and third place winners are Dr. Jay Shaktawat and Ravi Velappan respectively.Running concurrently with the Club Championship, Harbor Hills senior golf members also competed for the title of Senior Club Champion. Congrats to Frank Altman, our new Senior Club Champion! Second and Third place winners are Bill Collier and Chape Chapin. Great job and great fun all around.The 2021 President’s Cup Net Tournament starts today. It is a major three-day MGA event with net winners in each flight. Utilizing net scores create the opportunity for players of all skill levels to win. Over sixty players are participating. The cocktail reception starts at 5PM with the awards banquet to follow.Junior tennis classes are in full swing at Harbor Hills on Saturdays. The class sessions run through January 15. John Natolly, Certified Elite Tennis Professional, explains these classes are a great way to introduce children to tennis fundamentals. Junior players are the future of the game. Harbor Hills is delighted to provide kids with an introduction to a healthy, lifelong sport.On January 15, Harbor Hills proudly hosts the Florida Country Club Championship Cup. These fun tennis matches provide club members the opportunity to compete as well as enjoy the amenities of neighboring clubs. Space is limited to twelve players per club.
