HARBOR HILLS MEMBERS COMPETE IN CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS BY NIKKI HOFFMAN

The Harbor Hills Racquet Association is in full swing. Our men’s tennis doubles walk-up begins at 8 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Typical USTA levels are from beginner at 2.5 to intermediate at 3.5. Our teaching pro, Ron Eddy, is on-site on Fridays. Private and semi-private lessons are offered. Text Ron at 921-200-1772. Our next Intercommunity match is against Trilogy-Orlando in Groveland.

The Men's Golf Association (HHMGA) is hosting the prestigious President's Cup on February 19th, 21st, and 23rd. Enjoy three days of competitive golf in a net format. The entry fee is $20 per person. Join the gross skins game for an additional $20. Cap off the all-golf weekend with a Sunday buffet dinner for $30 per person. Entertainment and a 50/50 drawing are included. The Harbor Hills Ladies Golf Association Member-Member Tournament is scheduled for February 25th and 27th. This long-standing tradition offers an opportunity to team up with your girlfriends for two enjoyable days of competition. This tournament is very special to me. For years, my partner was a dear friend, Junie DeFazio. She joked that we played together like ham and eggs. I miss you, Junie.

They conquered the course and emerged as champions! Congratulations to the winners of the 11th Annual Winter Golf Tournament, formerly known as the Italian Open. Jim Cochran, Bill Bogert, John Flood, and Ted Sartin claimed first place in the regular flight. Greg Langan, Carol Langan, Karen Robbins, and Sue Rice secured first place in the fun flight. Congratulations to everyone who participated!
