HOLY TRINITY EPISCOPAL SCHOOL BENEFIT AT HARBOR HILLS BY NIKKI HOFFMAN

You can make a difference in the lives of students with unique learning needs. Holy Trinity Episcopal School will host its tenth annual Charity Golf Benefit on October 5 at the beautiful Harbor Hills Country Club.

Holy Trinity Episcopal School, a ministry of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Fruitland Park, is as special as its students. The church was built in 1888 and is officially listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The school provides a unique environment for learning-challenged children in grades 6 through 12 to foster the skills needed to live a healthy, productive life.

The Holy Trinity Episcopal School is a Christian community that welcomes children and families of every faith, background, and origin. The school provides unlimited possibilities for students with learning differences, such as autism and dyslexia. Florida-prescribed curriculums are adapted to each student’s individual needs.

Many families cannot afford the tuition and fees needed to cover the school’s expenses. Funds from this golf tournament provide scholarships for students with financial needs, educational program improvements, and facility expansion.

Blackston Financial is returning as the title sponsor. Two different hole-in-one opportunities will have prizes: one for $10,000 and the other for a golf cart! There will also be prizes for the longest drive, closest to the pin and an exciting putting contest. Golf or sponsorships can be registered at holytrinityschoolgolf.com or by contacting Judy Monin, Tournament Chairperson, on the website.
