CELEBRATE THE MEANING OF THE SEASON BY NIKKI HOFFMAN

The Harbor Hills Ladies Charity successfully hosted its 32nd annual Holiday Golf Tournament and Dinner on December 1st. The event raised $18,000 for eight local charities: Beacon College, Christian Food Pantry, Community Medical Care Center, Forward Paths Foundation, Fruitland Park Elementary School, The Villages Elementary School, Lake Hills School, and The Haven. The evening featured prizes for winning golfers, exciting raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a silent auction. The Charity extends its sincere gratitude to all Harbor Hills residents and friends who contributed to the event's success.

Harbor Hills is the home venue for the Claret Junior Golf Tour. The Tour provides affordable opportunities for youngsters to develop and play nationally ranked golf tournaments at venues across Central Florida. In 2024, the Claret Junior Tour hosted 45 days of tournament play, welcomed more than 1400 player entries, and played at 16 great venues. Join us on Saturday for a FUNdraiser team scramble event. Step back in time and play nearest the pin using a 100-year-old hickory shaft club and a period-style golf ball! Bid on some valuable and unique items from the Masters and Open Championship. To sign up now, contact Keith McColl at 716-436-8691.

Take this unique time to rethink our value as friends, partners, parents, and grandparents. We have purpose no matter what our age. We are a remarkable and resilient generation.
